Oli is the founder and President of the Society. As the President, he is ultimately responsible for the day-to-day running of the society. If there is a complaint, it is the duty of the President to address the issue. It is also the President's duty to organise all Society events, represent the Society at the Union, develop relationships with other organisations, and just about everything else.
Oli became a libertarian after reading Adam Smith's The Wealth of Nations (or, in the words of Alex Singleton, because he went to a fascist school). He changed his original consequentialist stance upon reading Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged, and now holds neo-Objectivist views, within a general framework of natural rights minarchism.
Besides politics, Oli enjoys arrogance, aloofness, narcissism, and greed. He is an avid sports fan, representing ULU at drinking, and has been described as the 'bad boy of the British libertarian movement'.
Dylan is the Treasurer, the second-most important position on the committee. The Treasurer is responsible for all financial issues, including fundraising and spending, and it's his duty to ensure that all society activities are properly funded and accounted.
Kelly is the social secretary, and is responsible for helping the President to arrange social activities. These include full social events and outings, but also social aspects of other meetings and activities.
Andrew is the communications secretary. In addition to generally helping to run the society, the position involves managing communications between the committee and members, including managing the website, sending out emails bulletins, and promoting society events to the membership.
